ICS Aura v1 ROM For Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360

There are quite a lot of custom ROMs forSamsung Galaxy Y but the most famous custom ROMs Cyanogenmod and MIUI have not yet been compiled. However these custom ROMs perform really well on Galaxy Y. In this post we will see yet another custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy Y which is the ICS Aura ROM. Please note that this is not an Ice Cream Sandwich ROM but a ROM which has ICS icons and a few other ICS tweaks to make your phone similar to running Ice Cream Sandwich. You will not lose any data in this tutorial but if you face force close issues, you need to format data in your phone.

Prerequisites

You won’t actually lose any data while doing this as it is a simple process but you may need to make a factory reset if you face force close issues. So it would be better if you take a backup of all important
Back up all apps using Titanium Backup since you have already rooted your LG Optimus Black
Back up all contacts to SD card.
Backup SMS on Android.
Backup call log on Android.
Have minimum 60% charge on your phone.
Make a nandroid backup while in recovery.
data on your device.

Installation Process
1.Copy the two .zip files to your SD card's root.
2. Turn off your phone and boot to Recovery Mod by pressing these buttons: volume up+home+power button. In Recovery you can't use the screen ,only the buttons.
Volume up: up
Volume down: down
Home: Enter
Power: Back
3. In Recovery choose apply update from sd card, then select CWM
4. When you are in clockworkmod wipe data and cache.(Important!)
5. After data wipe move to install zip from sd, then choose zip from sd and navigate to ics aura v1 final.zip
6. Wait until the installation ends.
7. The first boot can take a long time.
